      In-text citations are relatively easy. They require the author’s name, publication year of the information, page number and the title. After incorporating a direct quotation (source material word-for-word) or paraphrasing (condensing source material into your own words), an in-text citation should directly follow: “Direct quotation. My Alphabet Book Page Finish Me Book This is a 29 page alphabet book Title pages & initial book I use as a Young Author project in my kindergarten classroom. My school orders blank hardback books for every student from BareBooks.

I print these pages, tape them into the book with double face tape, then have the st. Words in title Exact start of title ("The", "A", and "An" can be omitted) For more search options, and help, see the search page. Place the title in the center of the page; Author name(s) The names of the authors are written in full (first name, initial of middle name(s), last name). Include the names of all authors in order of contribution.

In academic publishing. The title page of a thesis or essay is the work's first page. It lists the title of the work and the name of the author. In this case, you would reference both the chapter and the book. While APA requires italics for the title of a book, the title of a chapter in a book goes in regular type.

Provide the information for the book's editor and the book after the chapter title: Author's last name, first Initial(s).
